Wilmington Bloggers Meet With Star News Executive Editor

This morning, about 17 local bloggers gathered at Connection Internet Cafe thanks to the pied piper calling of Robyn Tomlin, the new executive editor at the Star News. Seeing as how the SNO has embraced social media, Robyn hosted a sort of roundtable to discuss issues currently facing Wilmington area bloggers.

In addition to putting faces to names, the meeting was a great way for us to share some ways we can all help each other out.  In fact, it’s because of that meeting that Wilmington Bloggers was created (the same day in fact!).

Gwen Sutton filmed some of our first meeting, and you can watch a 5 minute clip here. You’ll see Bruce Brown, Robyn Tomlin, Bob Jenkins, and David Morrison (speaking in that order).


Kate (@datinggod on Twitter) mentioned that there was no single resource to find area bloggers, and many others thought such a resource would be handy to keep up with what’s going on and to support each other.

So use this blog to find other bloggers. And by all means, if you are a local blogger, submit your blog for inclusion. Your blog will be reviewed and added to the community soon.

    Hi Bradley - I’ve just added the blog submission form to make it easier and go much faster. Click on Submit Your Blog in the menu and fill out the form.
